All photos are made with analogue medium format photocamera. That means that EVERY photo is unique in his existence. Digital photo can be copied an be equal, film not. There will be only ONE highresolution negative from the photo. The only thing you can do with film is make digitial copy that will never have the exact high quality from the original photo.
All my photos are taken as close as possible to my subject. Most of the times i know the person/subject very well and this gives me the possibility to take this shoots with a close angle to live.
The original photo contains an incredible ammount of detail. I can realize astonishing stamp in film labs or scan the film with my drumscanner. Scanned in 3.200 dpi i will get a 78 Megapixel Resolution photo in 16BIT. If you make prints in the film labs you will even get more resolution!
What matters is not the single photo! Most of the time its the series that creates the story. I always try to tell you something, something simple, universal and known by everybody.
