Last Christmas I discovered that the mamiya 43mm lens is my favourite lens for lowlight shots. It's not as fast as my 80mm but it's a lot easier to keep the subject in focus. I never used the viewfinder and looked into the lens instead. You can perfectly read the focus distance and even more important is the focus depth! Take that digital lens ;)

This was a wonderful surprise. We had a lot of snow and I could enjoy my weekends photographing the landscape.

In november I visited the Okavango Delta. I was struggling with myself because a lot of photographers had already registered this place making wonderful pictures. So what could I do? I decided to shoot only b&w. I was curious to see how landscapes, trees and elephants would be like. The only real problem I had was that my longest lens was the 80mm lens (39mm converted in 35mm format). That's why it was impossible to shoot animals...they are usually so far away from where you're standing!
